Post Tan Care
Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 6-8 hrs after your treatment.
For your FIRST shower - please use a warm water rinse ONLY. NO soaps or shampoos. Pat skin dry gently after every shower.
If you had our GOLDEN EXPRESS TAN - you may shower after only 2hrs! Or keep it on longer to get a deeper, darker tan.
Do not participate in any activity which may cause perspiration for at least 24 hours after the treatment. That's right - no dishwashing, at least for the first few hours. YEAH!
After the first shower, it's important to MOISTURE, please wait a full 24hrs AFTER your initial tan appointment before you apply moisturizer to allow the tan to build back up again (darker). Keep your skin well hydrated. Your tan will last for as long as your skin takes to exfoliate naturally. So if you keep your skin moisturized, your tan will, of course, last longer. Moisturizing also helps your tan fade nicely too.
Wear your sunscreen! It's a great moisturizer too.
Extend Your Tan
Use our Moisture Lock XS ($10) sprayed on the right after your tan will add 2-3 days and lock in color and moisture to better fade and protect your tan from the drying effects of weather, chlorine, and saltwater.

Use our Prep XS Spray ($10) before your tan to balance the Ph levels - perfect for those who don't have time to shower before their appointments.
Your tan should last between 5-10 days, depending on the care and condition of your skin.
After showering, pat the skin dry rather than rubbing.
Avoid swimming pools as chlorine can bleach the tan within the first day. OR opt for our Moisture Lock XS to protect your tan, and you can swim all you like!
Ask about our great before and aftercare products. They will maintain and extend your tan for at least 2-3 extra days! We only use the highest quality products that are great for your skin. Absolutely not! We customized your tan to suit your skin tone. Our Golden XS solution is violet based with a medium toned bronzer and eco-organic, so it works with your skin tone! You will NEVER be orange! Choose from a more natural sun-kissed look, medium just back from a tropical holiday, or you can obtain a darker tan similar to one achieved for competitions! The choice is yours. Our Rapid XS Tan is quick-drying and lets you pick and choose how dark you go!
Yes, you now have the convenience of showering the only 2hrs after your professional spray tan. You will continue to develop a deeper, darker tan long after you have showered. Now you can shower, and your tan won’t be affected. It will continue developing even up to 24hrs after your initial shower in some cases.
Yes, spray tanning is a safe alternative to obtaining a gorgeous tan. It is UVB/UVA free and does not damage or age the skin. As the skin cells naturally exfoliate off, so does the tan.
